The Good Stuff
Three days of yucky ugly ice all over the place in Texas. Today though, we were blessed with beautiful powdery snow! It is amazing to see God's beauty in all the seasons of Texas. My daughters were running around the house like crazy this morning, they knew at first sight that this snow was the good stuff. My sister-in-law and I were able to wear some of my recent additions to the Dawn Sherree collection. The hats kept our heads supper warm today in the 19 degree weather. So exciting! Have a wonderful day all!

| More delightful Christmas gifts that I made for my family. I can't take full credit for this idea though, the pattern came from the Fall 2010 Quilts and More Magazine. Instead following the patterns exactly, I added my own twist with some bling and zebra print. If your thinking about tackling this project, the magazine had a pattern sheet conveniently located in the centerfold or you can visit their web site for it. Links: www.allpeoplequilt.com/402 |

| Chiffon Laced Scarf |
I'm finally getting around to posting all my projects from Christmas. I made all kinds fun things this year for Christmas presents. Anything from scarfs to coffee warmers. This scarf is my favorite of all though. I sold one to a friend, gave one to my mother, and even made one for myself. The best part of the scarf is, where I got the Chiffon Ribbon from. I went to a local estate sale and paid five dollars for eight rolls of it. All the serious crochet/knitters out there know how expensive this ribbon can be. I just love it when I find awesome deals through second hand opportunities.
